Technical Artefacts

“Technical Artefacts” include arms, vehicles, machines and implements of all kinds, and require special concepts and measures as well as a customised infrastructure, since the combination of materials used in the objects as well as their size and weight make maintenance difficult. In the case of some of these objects, the museums are at pains not only to preserve their material integrity but to keep them functioning as well.
